High School Diploma or GED in Combination With One (1) Year of Life/Work Experience Working With HIV/STI and SUD/COD
Schedule: Full-time
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Position Summary: The Prevention Specialist will execute effective clear and consistent prevention services for individuals who seek treatment and prevention services for substance use disorders (SUD) identify resources to end homelessness and support recovery for people with complex health challenges. The Prevention Specialist shall also provide confidential HIV/ STI screenings prevention interventions and disseminate materials for the onset or spread of communicable diseases in Arizona counties. The Prevention Specialist will conduct outreach to use a client center approach to connect people with housing and employment medical care mental health care substance abuse treatment and other services. Additionally the Prevention Specialist will establish partnerships strengthen local relationships with other advocates and community-based organizations working to address homelessness. These are fully described within the contracts with funding sources as well as all other entities that Terros Health has contracted with in this endeavor to help maximize prevention options. This position reports to the Manager HIV/STI Programs.
