Job Summary

The Montana Department of Transportation is recruiting for a Road Profile Analyst. We are seeking a new team member with an aptitude for technology to operate our state-of-the-art Data Collection Vehicles. These vehicles collect pavement distress data and imagery that is used by the Department for financial and engineering decisions. Our mission is to help the Department improve the quality of Montanas roadways. Apply today to be part of our team! The Road Profile Analyst I is responsible for organizing and conducting statewide data collection and analysis projects to determine the overall quality of roadways. Extensive overnight travel is required during the summer months. Responsibilities include operating state-of-the-art equipment and software to collect road condition data. Other duties include data quality control equipment maintenance equipment calibration and a variety of continuous improvement projects as assigned. The position reports to the Pavement Management Supervisor (#40080) and serves as a lead worker.
