Schedule: Full-time Nights (Monday - Thursday one week then Tuesday - Friday the next week) 10-hour shifts two Friday nights required per month no holidays & no on-call.

A Polysomnographic Studentwho excels in this role:
Sleep Study Preparations and Set-up.
Sleep Study Procedures.
Comply with applicable laws regulations guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issues.
Assist with routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation.
Maintain current CPR/BLS certification.
Demonstrate computer skills appropriate for the position.
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate appropriate social skills.
Demonstrate appropriate customer service skills.
Demonstrate critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision.

What were looking for
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED. Additional requirements include:
Plus six months of direct patient care experience or one year of post-secondary education (minimum 2 semesters of college).
OR
Current enrollment in an accredited educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology.
OR
Possession of another healthcare credential/license.
AND
Enrollment in and completion of program or ASTEP course and advancement to technician level within 18 months of hire and achievement of RPSGT credential by the end of 24 months.
