The Opportunity

Within Aeroflow the Portal Access Operations team is comprised of three Portal Access Specialists and a Supervisor of Portal Access Operations.

• The team focuses on providing and managing payer portal access through a Jira request system.
• We support new hires and internal teams across the organization with payer portal access.
• Our small but mighty team handles a high volume of requests which requires us to be organized detail oriented and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Your Primary Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Healthcare Operations Specialist Portal Access.to join our team. The Healthcare Operations Specialist Portal Access is typically responsible for

• Serving as a shared administrator for payer portal accounts.
• Processing access requests for new hires and existing employees ensuring timely setup.
• Troubleshooting access issues including contacting payers via phone or email when necessary.
• Tracking and managing requests using a Jira system processing 2050 requests per week.
• Collaborating with team leads and internal departments to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws regulations and policies.
• Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
• Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
• Other job duties assigned

Skills for Success

• Familiarity with payor portals (BCBS and Medicaid experience preferred)

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Ability to be present at the office during scheduled working hours. (location: Oakland County)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a quiet environment with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Gmail) for virtual collaboration.
• Excellent written communication skills; email-heavy role.
