As a Security Officer - Flex Tablet Checkpoint in Wilmington DE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points verify identification and/or authorization as required and help to deter unauthorized entry in lobby office and restricted back-of-house areas.
- Respond to alarms disputes suspicious activity and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior spaces and the exterior perimeter including parking areas entrances and ATM-adjacent areas as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Complete security-related reports incident documentation and shift logs and communicate observations hazards and policy issues to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
