Responsibilities

  • Become expertly familiar withCellScapeworkflow and hardware.
  • Routinely conduct experiments as part of innovation and R&Dproduct developmentagendas.
  • Perform experiments needed for hardware testing andworkflowimprovementrelated to multiplex immunofluorescence staining on theCellScapeplatform.
  • Serve aspointof contact for field teams andparticipatein occasional instrument installations.
  • Collaboratewithsoftware teamfor software testingduring instrumentdevelopmentand sustaining.
  • Tissuepreparation including sectioning (FFPE andcryosectioning).
  • Establish and write documentation SOPs and protocolsrelated toCellScapehardware maintenance and workflow execution.
  • Perform lab experiments according to protocols andSOPsincluding documentation.
  • Maintains laboratory notebooks SOPdocumentsand computer databases.
  • Assistwith analyzing data.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as BTA/CTA/MTA orBachelors degree in Biology Immunology BiochemistryOpticsor relatedfield.
  • Minimum of 3 years lab experience in microscopy field or Optics.
  • Experience in testing microscope hardwareand microscope calibrationis preferred.
  • Programing skills are preferred.
  • Experienceto processtissue including sectioning and fixation.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and perform new protocols with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented setting.
  • Capable of independent planningevaluationand presentation of experiments and data.
  • Strong problem-solvingskills.
  • A passionfor working withnew technologies.
  • A permanent working permitfor Germanyis necessary.
