Job Summary
Our client in retail is currently recruiting for a Stock Auditor. This role is to ensure accurate stock records across stores by conducting audits investigating variances and supporting effective stock control and reporting. Reducing stock losses.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Travel out to site/stores with an estimated stay over period of 2 weeks per month.
- Ensure that stock count is completed in the stores as requested by HOD (within time frame).
- Ensure stock is captured accurately when performing counts (audit checks done for verification).
- Perform investigations using hanger counts as a reference when doing stock audits.
- Ensure that variances are investigated and all amendments are made during the count.
- Verify that Operations and Audit Manager are informed of the variance and sign off with all parties (request feedback for controls if needed)
- Perform supervised counts in stores requested by HOD
- Admin reporting
- Maintain stock take equipment
Personal Attributes:
- Matric
- Finance degree or diploma (Advantageous)
- Valid Driver License and own reliable vehicle
- Stock count experience (essential)
- Worked in retail environment (essential)
- Knowledge of MS Office
