Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving storing and distributing materials and components to support manufacturing activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse management practices to optimize storage space and workflow.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) to analyze inventory data generate reports and facilitate communication across departments.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing needs.
- Train supervise and mentor warehouse staff to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies material damages or logistical challenges promptly.
- Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
- 3 years of experience in warehouse management or materials handling ideally in a manufacturing or data centre environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and best practices in inventory control.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g. forklifts pallet jacks).
- Proficient in both written and spoken Mandarin essential for communication with Chinese institutions and for operating equipment featuring Mandarin interfaces.
Salary Range: RM4000-RM6000
