We are representing one of our clients - a leading Sarawak conglomerate headquartered in Kuala Lumpur with diversified businesses across infrastructure & construction property development oil & gas utilities facilities management and services.
They are seeking a Senior Manager HR Operations & Governance to lead and strengthen the operational backbone of the People function across the Group.
Reporting to the Head of People this role will oversee HR operations payroll governance HRIS ER/IR processes and HR compliance across multiple subsidiaries.
You will play a key role in building a consistent and scalable One People System to support the Groups growth.
Responsibilities
HR Operations & Shared Services
- Lead Group-wide HR operations and shared services delivery
- Standardise HR processes SOPs and service workflows
- Establish service standards and drive continuous improvement
Payroll Governance & Compliance
- Oversee payroll accuracy timeliness and compliance
- Ensure compliance with EPF SOCSO EIS LHDN and HRD Corp
- Strengthen payroll controls audits and risk management
Employee & Industrial Relations
- Oversee ER/IR processes including disciplinary grievances and investigations
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and fair practices
HRIS & Digital Systems
- Act as Product Owner for HRIS platforms
- Drive HR digitalisation and process automation
- Ensure strong HR data governance
HR Governance & Policies
- Maintain HR policies SOPs and compliance frameworks
- Ensure audit readiness and documentation governance
Workforce Data & Reporting
- Deliver HR analytics and workforce insights
- Provide reporting on headcount trends and HR metrics
Vendor Management
- Manage payroll HRIS and HR service providers
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance
Requirements
- 1012 years of HR experience with strong focus on HR operations
- Strong experience in payroll governance and ER/IR
- Experience in multi-entity or conglomerate environment preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
