What Youll Be Doing
As a Senior Consultant of Controls Effectiveness at CIBC you will play a key role in strengthening our control environment and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Your responsibilities will include developing and refining the control compliance framework including processes and methodologies to support ongoing compliance Mapping controls to relevant regulatory requirements and CIBC standards to ensure comprehensive coverage and alignment
Evaluating controls appropriateness and efficiencies and identifying areas for improvement Supporting controls effectiveness and compliance in integration with control lifecycle management Communicating and collaborating with teams and stakeholders across various regions to drive controls enhancement initiatives. You be doing reporting on control-based compliance progress and outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders.
