Position: Senior Technical Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: Pickering ON (2 days remote)
Structure: Contract 24 months to start
Pay:$70.00 - $78.00 p/h inc. HST

Deliverables
- Provide technical evaluations problem-solving and coordination of engineering activities to support commissioning operation and maintenance of facility systems.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation including specifications calculations procedures reports and recommendations for system improvements.
- Analyze operational data conduct studies and recommend solutions to improve system performance safety reliability and efficiency.
- Support procurement installation and testing activities while collaborating with stakeholders to review proposals implement changes and ensure compliance with standards.
Experience Required
- 68 years of experience in engineering roles supporting design commissioning operation or maintenance within nuclear or complex industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of engineering disciplines such as mechanical engineering process systems physics or materials science to evaluate and improve systems.
- Experience performing technical analysis problem-solving and developing recommendations to enhance system safety reliability and performance.
- Experience preparing technical documentation procedures reports and supporting procurement and installation activities.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline with strong analytical communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
