The organization is looking for someone who can help bring software solutions from concept through production and commercial deployment while partnering closely with cross-functional teams involved in system and hardware development.
About the Role
The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing software systems from initial requirements through production and commercial deployment. This includes designing developing coding testing and debugging system software as well as reviewing both code and design to ensure quality and performance.
This role also involves analyzing and improving system efficiency stability and scalability while working closely with hardware teams to support integration across software and hardware subsystems. The position is full-time and on-site with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science or a similar technical field

Strong knowledge of operating system coding techniques

Strong understanding of IP protocols interfaces and hardware subsystems

Experience designing developing testing and debugging system software

Ability to review code and system design effectively

Experience improving system performance stability and scalability

Ability to work collaboratively with hardware design and development teams
