Responsibilities of the Service Technician:
- Works towards guaranteeing ultimate customer service and satisfaction.
- Performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnoses the cause of any malfunction and performs repairs.
- Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts
- Performs multipoint inspection on assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed if work is outlined as not needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
- Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order. Clocks in and out on all jobs.
- Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
Qualifications:
Experience as a certified technician
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug Screening
