Job Summary
Lee Motor Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our automotive dealership team in Wilson NC. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and maintaining strong vendor relationships within our fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices statements and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor files and ensure all payments are processed in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities.
- Support internal departments with invoice inquiries and payment follow-ups.
- Help maintain compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or accounting preferably in an automotive dealership or similar environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic workplace.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
