Duration: Long-Term Contract (Up to 24 Months)
A regional medical center in Shiprock New Mexico is seeking two (2) Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrician/Gynecologist Physicians to provide comprehensive womens health services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
This position offers the opportunity to practice full-scope obstetrics and gynecology in a collaborative hospital environment serving a diverse patient population. Physicians will provide obstetrical and gynecological care perform procedures and support the facilitys womens health services.
Provide full-scope obstetrics and gynecology services
Deliver prenatal labor and delivery and postpartum care
Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecologic conditions
Perform OB/GYN procedures and surgeries as clinically appropriate
Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Participate in on-call coverage as required
Maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation
Collaborate with nurses midwives and interdisciplinary care teams
Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Prenatal and postnatal care
Labor and delivery management
Cesarean sections
Gynecologic procedures and surgery
Preventive womens health screenings
Family planning services
Diagnosis and management of reproductive health conditions
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
DEA registration
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Ability to obtain facility credentialing and privileging
Experience in hospital-based OB/GYN practice
Experience providing full-scope obstetrics and gynecology care
Experience in rural or underserved healthcare settings
Comfortable working in multidisciplinary care teams
Hospital inpatient units
Labor and delivery unit
Outpatient womens health clinic
Collaborative team environment with nursing and specialty providers
Two (2) physicians needed
