Full-Time Opportunity Berkshire County Massachusetts

Position Summary

Community Health Programs is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD) to join our collaborative and mission-driven team. This full-time position provides comprehensive continuous care to a diverse patient population including routine and urgent office-based services preventive care and health education.

This role offers a competitive salary (commensurate with experience) robust benefits and eligibility for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) loan repayment programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and ongoing primary care services including patient assessments diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Perform physical examinations and review patient medical histories
  • Order perform and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures
  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans within scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
  • Coordinate care and refer patients to specialists or external services as needed
  • Provide patient education in individual group and community settings
  • Participate in on-call physician rotation
  • Engage in quality assurance utilization review and patient care audits
  • Maintain professional competency through continuing medical education
  • Contribute to administrative and leadership functions including staff supervision and performance input
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems required
  • Strong clinical communication and organizational skills
  • Spanish-speaking/bilingual candidates preferred
Leadership & Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and clinical guidance to allied health professionals and care teams
  • Support training and development of staff and residents involved in patient care
