We are seeking an experienced Product Manager Analytical Laboratory to own and evolve the Brooks AIM Autosampler portfolio serving analytical laboratory applications.
Brooks portfolio for Analytical Laboratories refers specifically to autosamplers designed for analytical laboratory instruments and techniquessuch as spectroscopy chromatography and related analytical measurement workflowswhere precision repeatability instrument compatibility and method integrity are critical.
The Product Manager Analytical Laboratory is responsible for defining product strategy requirements and lifecycle management for analytical autosamplers while also leading the commercial and marketing enablement activities required to successfully position launch and grow the portfolio globally.
This role represents a rare opportunity in the Brisbane market to work within a business that combines local design development and manufacturing with global export and customer reach.
Based on the Northside of Brisbane Brooks LAS designs and builds advanced laboratory automation solutions that are deployed worldwide partnering with some of the largest and most respected multinational companies in the industry. Product & Portfolio Management
Own the endtoend product lifecycle for AIM autosamplers used in analytical laboratory applications from concept through launch and endoflife.
Define product strategy and roadmaps aligned to analytical techniques instrument classes and customer segments.
Translate analytical application requirements into clear product definitions specifications and priorities.
Ensure compatibility between AIM autosamplers and analytical instruments including mechanical electrical and software interfaces.
Contribute to design reviews risk assessments validation activities and product documentation relevant to analytical laboratory environments.
Build strong relationships with key customers distributors partners and subjectmatter experts in analytical laboratory automation.
Lead and participate in customer evaluations demonstrations and pilot programs focused on analytical workflows.
Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to assess customer expectations identify unmet needs and inform product enhancements.
Participate in formal and informal market research and communicate findings to product and marketing leadership.
Prepare and coordinate marketing support programs for the analytical autosampler portfolio and in synergy with other Brooks Laboratory Automation Solutions portfolio requirements.
Contribute to the planning and creation of promotional materials product updates and internal/external communications.
Lead or support the development and execution of gotomarket and marketing strategies for the analytical business line.
Develop and maintain competitive intelligence files perform competitive analyses and act as a subjectmatter expert for the portfolio.
Assist with market and portfolio analysis including competitive pricing positioning market share and portfolio planning.
Develop and deliver product training programs and educational presentations to internal teams and external audiences.
Support and collaborate on trade shows industry events and customer workshops.
Collaborate crossfunctionally with R&D Sales Manufacturing Finance Quality Marketing Communications and global affiliates.
Bachelors degree required in Science Engineering Chemistry Life Sciences Marketing or a related field.
35 years experience within the laboratory industry with exposure to analytical instrumentation or laboratory automation.
Experience in product management product marketing or technical product sales.
Strong understanding of analytical laboratory terminology workflows and environments.
