About the role

As an Optometrist Store Manager with us youll be providing excellent customer and patient care as well as leading and inspiring your store team. Youll create a culture where everyone is passionate about doing the right thing.

• Using your passion for delivering patient care youll work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.
• Drive local plans for enhanced services and delivering towards P&L objectives
• Bringing your personality into the day to day running of the practice working with and developing your team to provide the best service to patients
• Building longstanding relationships not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community.

What youll need to have

• Fully qualified GOC registered Optometrist
• Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
• Passion for patient care
• Leadership experience

Need To Know
Were looking for a Clinical Store Manager (22.537.5 hours flexible) to lead our Penrith practice offering an excellent opportunity for either part-time or full-time candidates.

This is a freestanding practice with Hearing Care providing a supportive environment within a close-knit team of 5 colleagues.

Youll take ownership of a single-test-room practice giving you real autonomy to lead clinical standards patient care and store performance.

The role offers a structured working pattern with testing Monday to Thursday and Saturday and a non-testing day on Friday. The store is closed on Sundays with Saturday as the only weekend requirement.

We welcome newly qualified Optometrists with strong opportunities to develop further qualifications supported learning and even future franchise opportunities.

Youll be working with modern clinical equipment including OCT supporting high-quality patient care.

The store is well connected with Penrith North Lakes station on the main LondonGlasgow line excellent M6 access and free parking available.
