Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Adult Care (Home Health)
Location: Manhattan NY
Job Type: Contract - 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift (9:00 AM 5:00 PM) 37.5 Hours/Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Travel: Required (Patient Home Visits Local Travel)
Local Pay: 2962/week
Travel PAy: 3661/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Adult Care (Home Health)for an exciting Travel or Local job in Manhattan NY.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
- Active New York RN License (Primary Source Verified)
- AHA BLS Certification Required
- AHA ACLS Certification Required (Queens-based roles)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience (acute or post-acute setting)
- Recent experience within the past year required
- Prior Home Health experience REQUIRED (must have independently traveled to patient homes)
Key Responsibilities
- Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Provide direct bedside care for pre- and post-surgical patients in home settings
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
- Perform wound care IV therapy catheter insertions and dressing changes
- Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry data
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams on discharge planning and care coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards infection control and best practices
