Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst Automation Developer to support
process improvement and automation initiatives within a financial services environment.
This role partners closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather
and document requirements analyze business processes and design and deliver
automation solutions.
The Business Analyst will work in alignment with the Automation Center of
Excellences (CoE) governance model standards and policies and procedures
ensuring all automation initiatives comply with established controls best practices and
regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate has strong Business Analyst experience
technical aptitude and prior exposure to Agile delivery addition to
traditional BA responsibilities this role will contribute to hands-on development of
automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Microsoft Power
Platform technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with business units to gather analyze and document business and
functional requirements for system enhancements and automation solutions.
Facilitate meetings process reviews and requirement-gathering sessions with
stakeholders across multiple departments.
Translate business needs into clear documentation including business
requirements functional requirements process flows and user stories.
Serve as a liaison between business users IT and automation development
teams.
Process Analysis & Automation
Analyze existing business processes to identify automation and efficiency
improvement opportunities particularly those that are repetitive rules-based
or high-volume.
Document current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) processes.
Prepare Process Definition Documents (PDDs) and related design
documentation to support automation development.
Automation Development & Delivery
Design and develop automation solutions using:
o UiPath (RPA)
o Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI)
o Excel VBA as needed to support automation efforts
Work closely with CoE and compliance teams to ensure solutions align with
organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Agile & SDLC Participation
Participate in Agile project activities including sprint planning backlog
refinement daily stand-ups reviews and retrospectives.
Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements
through deployment and stabilization.
Assist with backlog prioritization and ensure requirements are complete and
testable.
Testing & Implementation Support
Develop test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on business requirements.
Support and/or execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with issue
resolution.
Monitor automation performance after deployment and recommend
enhancements as needed.
Value & Impact Analysis
Assist in evaluating efficiency gains cost savings risk reduction and return
on investment (ROI) for automation initiatives.
Prepare summaries and presentations for leadership and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Finance Computer
Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a financial services or regulated
environment.
Experience working on process improvement and/or automation initiatives.
Experience working in Agile environments and across the SDLC.
Technical Skills:
Experience with UiPath RPA development.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps Power
Automate Power Automate Desktop and Power BI.
Experience with Excel VBA or similar automation tools.
Ability to understand system integrations data flows and business rules.
Core Competencies
