As part of the Capital Markets Operations team the Settlement Officer willbe responsible forsettling and processing trades on our various fixed income settlement must understandvariouscomplex products associated trade events (includingbookkeepingactivities)andother related process role will require frequent professional engagement with clients traders seniorleadersand other support staff. You will need to The Settlement Officer will also beaccountable for providing business identification and consultative supportrelativeto the development analysis and identification of process changes and/or system enhancements. The incumbent will proactively analyze and recommend enhancements to the existing business processes and clearly communicate rationale and negotiate solutions which will enhance operational effectiveness. Ensure that all assigned initiatives are implemented in an effective manner withinareaof responsibility. Participate in meetings to answer questions as a subject matter expert.

  • Attention to detail & analytical skills -Exceptional attention to detail ensuring that all client agreements and trade commitments are adhered to. All tradingactivity isfully balanced and settled by specified SLAs without errors or research and analysis of discrepancies between internal recordscustodiansand counterparties.

  • Relationship building - Required to respond to clientsinquiresand requests providing professional high quality customer service for the assigned portfolio to ensure client satisfaction. You will liaise and interact with clients as part of the daily management of your portfolioassistingwith trade confirmations and problem resolution.

  • Problem solvingKnowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizinganticipatingand resolving operational or process documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.

  • Operational Functions:Knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements. Seeks efficiencies in operational functions wherever possible. Experience with Euroclear Clearstream DTC Fed CDS Arrow Broadridge.

  • Effective Communication:Ability to effectivelytransmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application ofappropriate communicationbehaviorstoolsand techniques. Communicates well upwardand outward.
