Duties and Responsibilities
work on the projects of material science surface science via scanning tunnelling microscopy
maintain/refine the research instruments
coordinate data collection and analysis
assist in the preparation of reports and manuscripts
perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
a Ph.D. degree in Physics or a related discipline
strong background or experience in one or more of the following areas: 2D materials carbon nanotubes scanning tunnelling microscopy/spectroscopy molecular beam epitaxy
an excellent command of written and spoken English
good interpersonal communication organizational and problem-solving skills
the ability to work independently and in a team
the ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines
self-motivated and responsible
What we offer
The appointment will commence as soon as possible initially for a contract period of 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
