As a Security Officer - Front Desk Screener in Escondido CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Screener at a busy healthcare location you will greet patients visitors and staff support entry screening and access procedures and watch for security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents and communicate clearly with clinical teams and the public. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service in a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Screen employees patients visitors and vendors at designated entry points by following access control requirements checking identification and/or appointments as required and directing individuals to appropriate check-in areas.
• Conduct entry screening activities such as asking required health questions observing for signs of distress and supporting facility masking and/or hygiene protocols per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders when needed.
• Complete required logs and reports communicate shift activity to leadership and conduct periodic rounds of entrances and nearby public areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
