Job Summary

- Perform specification review.

- Knowledge of electrical codes. (NEC NFPA79 UL508A)
- Plan manage and execute project deliverables with little oversight.
- Ability to identify and communicate status and risks as appropriate to management.
- Prepare and/or update reports and documentation.
- Troubleshoot technical problems on new and existing products.
- Identify areas for technical improvement.
- Willingness to travel as required. (10%)
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability and willingness to mentor others.
- Ability to refine or develop standards and procedures.
- Ability to create complex test plans.
- Understand customer operations and problems.
- Promote coordination with project teams.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with 480vac power distribution.
- Experience with 24vdc systems.
- Experience with Profibus ProfiNet EtherCat Ethernet.
- Experience with PLC and PC based control systems.
- Experience with motor control including VFDs and Servos.
- Experience with schematic design.
- Proficiency with: ACAD ACAD-electrical MS Excel Visual Basic Oracle.
- 5-8 years of experience in material handling or other similar industrial/manufacturing automation fields.
