Job Summary
Position Title: Registered Nurse Day Contract
Location: Phoenix AZ
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Day Shift 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks
Payrate: $63 hourly
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Phoenix AZ.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient health conditions and record medical histories.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and implement patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
Educate patients and families on health conditions treatments and preventive care.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations safety standards and infection control protocols.
Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Active RN license (state-specific as required).
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
Proficiency with EMR systems.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
