Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative experience and the ability to support multiple surgical specialties in a fast-paced OR environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting
- Assist surgical teams before during and after procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety standards
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia providers and interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient care accurately within the EMR system
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Previous travel OR RN experience preferred
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in:
- Orthopedic surgery
- General surgery
- Gynecology procedures
- Podiatry procedures
- Ability to take call as scheduled
