Position Overview
The Middle School Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorousscience instruction to students in grades 68. The ideal candidate fosters a love of learning encourages critical thinking and supports students in developing confidence in theirscientific abilities.
Qualifications
We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds including those who have gone through a teaching licensure program as well as those with experience in coaching scouting parish ministry (such as CCD) or other educational settings who are interested in transitioning into the classroom. Strong candidates have experiencesupervising a group ofchildren and either have a teaching license or are willing to obtain certification. BSS offers support in obtaining a teaching license through summer certification programs and ongoing professional development.
