Premiere automotive dealership seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to work alongside a team of professionals to maintain and repair our facilities. Ideal candidates will enjoy hands-on work take pride in fixing things and can handle a variety of maintenance and carpentry tasks with efficiency and care. Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance across buildings and properties
- Complete basic to intermediate carpentry work (repairs installations framing trim doors cabinets)
- Troubleshoot and fix minor plumbing issues (leaks clogs fixture replacements)
- Handle basic electrical work (light fixtures switches outlets)
- Perform painting patching and touch-up work
- Conduct pressure cleaning and general exterior upkeep
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Inspect facilities and identify areas needing repair or improvement
- Maintain tools equipment and a clean work environment
- Consistent professional appearance and demeanor
- Polished communication and interpersonal skills
- Manage day-to-day needs and expectations as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma GED and/or equivalent trade school experience
- Trade certifications or technical training preferred
- Proven experience as a handyman maintenance technician building engineer or similar
- Working knowledge of carpentry plumbing electrical and general repairs
- Basic knowledge of HVAC
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience in commercial property maintenance helpful
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable punctual and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced performance-driven environment while delivering white-glove service
- Aptitude in resolving issues with a high degree of service awareness
- Ability to multi-task manage time and take ownership of completed work
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid driver license
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements including background check MVR and drug screening
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing sitting squatting climbing crouching stooping bending lifting holding kneeling twisting turning reaching throughout the day (75% - 85%).
- Ongoing walking and standing (70% - 80%) primarily to move around the dealership service department supply closets and offices.
- Prolonged use of arms hands fingers and legs to safely use equipment ladders power tools personal computers maintenance tools and other peripheral office equipment.
- Frequent talking and hearing to communicate with team.
- Close vision color vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus for multi-uses.
- Must be able to occasionally lift move and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
