Quality Control Inspector

At FLSmidth we are committed to enabling our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Officer to join our Manufacturing team supporting the delivery of high-quality products across our operations.

About the Role

As a QC Officer you will play a critical role in ensuring products meet FLSmidths quality standards through inspection testing and process monitoring. You will work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement support compliance and uphold our commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming in-process and final inspections in line with specifications

• Perform testing and identify defects or non-conformances

• Raise NCRs and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Maintain accurate quality records and ensure audit readiness

• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement

• Support root cause analysis and resolution of quality issues

• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality outcomes

About You

• Experience in quality control within a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Pronto)

• A proactive team-oriented approach with a continuous improvement mindset
