Position Summary:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides behavioral assessment program development consultation and direct support to students to promote positive behavioral outcomes and access to learning. The BCBA collaborates with educators related service providers administrators and families to design and implement evidence-based interventions that foster student independence skill acquisition and school success. The BCBA supports staff through coaching modeling and training to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans and data-driven decision making across school settings.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology Education or a related field.
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Minimum of 23 years of experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred.
- Knowledge of special education laws regulations and best practices.
- Strong skills in behavioral assessment data collection analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills.
- Experience training and coaching educators and paraprofessionals preferred.
- Trained in Non-Physical and Physical De-Escalation and Crisis Intervention (such as CPI or similar program).
