Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedOracle Database Administrator (DBA)to manage and maintain our mission-critical Oracle 19c environment running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise inOracle RACandASM and the ability to work independently on routine maintenance as well as specialized tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and advanced database administration tasks for Oracle 19c RAC and ASM environments.
  • Implement and maintaindatabase backup and recovery procedures ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Manageaccess security database integrity and physical data storage design.
  • Overseedata storage managementand superviseperformance tuningactivities.
  • Authorshell scriptsfor backup restore and monitoring tasks.
  • Monitor database performance space requirements and optimize system resources.
  • Identify and track issues risks and action items; provide accurate and timely status updates.
  • Assist in coordinating software releases and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment while being capable of independent execution of tasks.

Required Technical Skills

  • Oracle RACandASMadministration expertise.
  • Strong knowledge ofOracle 19c architectureand features includingPluggable Databases (PDBs).
  • Proficiency inLinux (RHEL)shell scripting.
  • RMAN (Recovery Manager)for backup and restore operations.
  • Performance tuningat both database and SQL query level.
  • SQL and PL/SQLscripting for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Patch managementand applying PSU/CPU updates.
  • Familiarity withOEMAWRADDM andASH reportsfor monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Security hardeningand compliance (encryption auditing).
  • Capacity planningand forecasting for database growth.

  • Experience withOracle Data Guardfor disaster recovery and high availability.
  • Experience withUDEV configurationfor ASM devices.
  • Exposure tocloud-based Oracle deployments.
  • Knowledge of automation tools for database operations
