Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Application Lead with strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) within the Retail domain. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of functional and technical skills along with proven leadership experience to manage offshore teams and drive application support and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Application Maintenance Support (AMS) and resolve critical production issues in a timely manner
Lead and coordinate with offshore teams ensuring smooth delivery and support
Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for SAP SD-related activities
Work on Retail business processes including promotions store operations and store sales
Support and enhance SAP Fiori applications related to Retail/Store Operations
Handle interfaces batch jobs and integration processes within SAP landscape
Perform basic debugging and technical analysis to troubleshoot issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements
Support S/4HANA environments and related implementations/upgrades
Ensure system stability performance and continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

8-12 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
Proven experience working with Retail clients/projects
Experience in Application Maintenance Support (AMS)
Good understanding of Retail processes (Promotions Store Ops POS Sales)
Experience with SAP Fiori applications
Knowledge of interfaces batch jobs and integrations
Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Ability to handle both functional and basic technical aspects
Excellent communication and client management skills
Proven leadership experience managing offshore teams

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository)
Knowledge of POS systems integration
Prior experience in Retail transformation projects
