We are seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Mission Integration to support the leadership and culture of our regional Victoria services through promotion and integration of the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
You will work with the Hospital or Service CEOs and Chief Mission Integration Officer in the provision of strong inclusive leadership that seeks to strengthen and facilitate the Mission of SJGHC through the implementation of the SJGHC Mission strategy.
Reporting to the National Mission Integration manager your primary responsibilities will be to promote and further develop the leadership capacity and capability of leadership for Mission among senior leaders and managers in the Hospital or Service/s to which they are appointed.
The Position
Serves as a resource to the CEO/Chief Officers and Hospital or Service leadership team about considerations of health care and community services that are reflective of a Catholic ministry.
Provides vision and leadership for Mission integration within the Hospital or Service in partnership with the CEO/Chief Officers and Hospital/Service
Deliver initiatives in formation in partnership with the GM Formation & Ethics and SJGHC Learning & Development team that reflect the goals of formation.
Builds capacity and capability of CEO/Chief Officers HMC and senior leaders and managers to lead formation of own teams and caregivers.
Assists senior leaders to broaden their scope of concern beyond traditional organisational priorities to create a well-integrated frame of reference for business decisions and processes that reflects SJGHC Mission and ethical practice.
Provides executive sponsorship and/or Mission representation on relevant Committees Projects and Working Groups.
In conjunction with CEOs/Chief Officers serves as a point of liaison with local Social Outreach services to ensure the relationships between hospitals and community services remain strong.
We are seeking applicants who are Catholic or who can demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to Catholic faith culture and practices. This role requires a proven ability to develop and strengthen the leadership capabilities of senior leaders and managers ensuring alignment with the organisations Mission vision and values.
The successful candidate will be an influential and strategic leader with a demonstrated capacity to build collaborative relationships across senior leadership teams and to champion a culture grounded in our shared Mission.
To succeed you will hold qualifications in either Health Care Human Resources Organisational Development Theology Scripture Ethics or Ministry have a demonstrated ability to lead organisational culture and change and are able to build strong and collegial relationships with leaders operating at a senior executive level.
