Position Summary:
TheField ServiceEngineerwillbe responsibleforfull cycle product support for our Purification Systemsand APS products. This includes responsibilityforproductstart-upand commissioningcustomer training technical supportandrepairsand troubleshooting.Other work wouldinclude conducting preventative maintenanceservice callsin the fieldwhilemaintainingstrong relationships withourclients.TheFSE Iwillregularlyrequireassistancefrom more senior staffin order tomeet positionobjectives.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Delivers customer service support andassistanceto troubleshoot repair and upgrade equipment during field visits. Service is also provided via phone or emailas applicable.
Travel tocustomersfacilities as(primarilydomestic travel).
Provide customer training on Entegris gas purification productsas well as APS products.
Promote and execute Preventative Maintenance Agreements.
Troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems by reading schematics piping and instrumentation diagrams and any technical documentation necessary to perform electrical or mechanical repairs.
The ability to perform safe work during close inspection of potentially dangerous products (electrical wiring hot surfaces gas leaks pressurized systems) is a must.
Provide support to global and domestic FSE (Field Service Engineer/Technician) peers.
Maintain proper documentation for all on-site fieldservicesupport calls and any criticalequipment informationgathered via phone/email.
Provide parts/labor requirementsto local CSR (Customer Service Representative) forcustomerquote generation.
Create reports as.
Provide detailed verbal and written feedback to EngineeringQualityand otherdepartmentsas necessary.
Travel to domestic sites in support of routine work on site (PM commissioning)for less complexproduct lines.
Traits/qualificationswebelieve make a strong candidate:
Technicalengineeringor scientific degree or equivalent field service experience
Entry level position: 0-3 years ofField Service Experience.
The ability to understand andtake full responsibility fortechnical issues after progressing through factory training is.
The ability to work both independently and as a team iswhile communicating effectivelytoboth internal and external customers.
Understanding of electronic and mechanical systems
Strong computer and communication skills. Ability toproblem solveindependently while out on field
Semiconductoror Gasindustry experience a plus
Experience with product start-ups repairs upgrades training technicalsupportand preventative maintenance a plus
Valid Passport required (to travelatvariousregions) and valid Class drivers license
