Reach Truck Driver
Location: Atlantic Hills Cold Storage Cape Farms
Department: Warehouse / Logistics
Reporting To: Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Manager
Job Summary
The Reach Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a reach truck to move locate stack and count stock within the warehouse. The role requires attention to detail adherence to safety standards and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck to load offload and move stock within the warehouse.
- Pick pack and stage orders accurately according to picking slips.
- Ensure stock is stored correctly in allocated locations.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or damages.
- Maintain accurate stock control and assist with stock counts.
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in the work area.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Reach Truck License / Certification.
- Minimum 23 years experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control.
- Ability to work shifts weekends or overtime if required.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy items where required.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Able to stand and operate machinery for extended periods.
Preferred Requirements (Advantageous)
- Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Experience in FMCG cold storage or high-volume distribution environments.
