System Specialist full time (37.5 hours per week) Nottingham Support Office

A vital role at the heart of Store Development primarily ensuring our Blue Yonder platform and associated systems and tools are performant and optimised to support the team delivering customer-led planograms and floorplans for our customers.

What youll be doing

Reporting to the Systems Development Manager the System Specialist plays a key role in ensuring our key delivery platforms are fit for purpose with a focus on ensuring users can use the systems effectively. Youll support the Systems Development Manager in ensuring the accurate and timely day-to-day running of Blue Yonder and associated tools to enable our teams to deliver customer and category initiatives at pace and scale.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Systems Development Manager in driving for continuous system and associated process improvements across Store Development

  • Be the main contact for advising colleagues on the use of Blue Yonder and associated systems with a view to identifying issues and implementing solutions through new training reporting and tools

  • Oversee the shared Inbox Merchandising Intranet Site Planner Hierarchy and Fixture Libraries resolving queries updating information and providing colleague guidance

  • Proactively identify and resolve data issues in the base data impacting ongoing space decisions.

  • Work with IT and 3rd parties to ensure prioritisation of Blue Yonder and Power BI issues and opportunities

What youll need to have (our must-haves)

  • A strong technical lead with significant Blue Yonder experience; able to engage and influence a diverse group of stakeholders across internal and external businesses.

  • The ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with a variety of different stakeholders cross-functionally

  • Able to embrace endorse and positively react to change

  • Confident in expressing ideas opinions and solutions with a variety of stakeholders and the ability to listen and interpret the views of others

  • A good understanding of the technical side of Blue Yonder Applications and Store Development processes with the ability to simplify it both verbally and written

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with an understanding of VBA and SQL methodology.
