In this parttime (0.9 FTE) maximumterm role (until 30th September 2026) youll work 9 days per fortnight Monday to Friday within standard business hours with one rostered day off each fortnight (7.6hour days). Youll be part of our DFV team on the Gold Coast helping to create lasting change for children and families.

You will make a difference by:

  • Delivering outreach short term case management support to women and children experiencing Domestic and Family Violence and/or homelessness because of DFV.
  • Providing immediate support to women and children impacted by DFV
  • Conducting risk assessments where DFV is identified
  • Developing strong networks and referral pathways to support desired outcomes
  • Collecting and recording information for the purpose of accountability evaluation and reporting

This role requires:

  • Experience working with women children and young people who have experienced domestic and family violence
  • Knowledge of best practice professional standards and relevant research in the field of domestic and family violence
  • Demonstrated understanding of the ways in which cultural contexts influence practice approaches
  • Current valid drivers licence
  • A Bachelor of Social Work Psychology or relevant Human Services Qualification and/or significant experience working in a similar service
