Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Mechanical Component Installer (Technician B) to join our H145 Final Assembly Line team based in Columbus MS.
You will be part of the team to perform mechanical removals and installations on assigned aircraft or parts and subassemblies.

Your working environment:
On the eastern border of Mississippi youll find Columbus home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. Its here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

Your challenges:
Perform fabrication assembly installation repair replacement adjustment and alignment of parts and components.
Conduct functional checks of systems for proper functioning.
Perform work from three-dimensional blueprints sketches diagrams technical manuals work orders inspection reports and other similar documentation.
- Perform normal troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings fire protection fuel system hydraulics landing gear doors fuselage stabilizer rotor systems power plant and engine controls.
Your boarding pass:
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience in mechanical installations.
- Knowledge of mechanical blueprints and drawings.
- A current A&P license is preferred but NOT required.
- Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.
Citizenship:
- US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
