Job Summary
Description
Role Expectations:
Timely and accurate registrations scheduling complete benefit verification patient education (regarding benefits) scanning faxing and appropriate authorizations and referrals for services are the responsibility of the Patient Access Representative.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 yr work experience working in a patient access fast-paced healthcare environment.
Insurance Verification Experience
Healthcare Scheduling Experience
Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred
Experience working with managed care health plans
Excellent patient registration skills
Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette required
Solid knowledge of medical terminology
Outstanding customer service abilities
Must be able to multi-task
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient computer skills; internet typing data entry
