The primary function of the Watch Technician Engraving role is to engrave case backs in accordance with customer requirements and specifications. This position works closely with Call Center Representatives and the direct-to-consumer team to ensure engraving requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner. The role also supports watch battery changes and performs other distribution center functions as needed.

Responsibilities

    Engraving Services

    • Process documentation for customer engraving orders.

    • Use engraving software and operate engraving machinery independently.

    • Collaborate with the Customer Operations team for custom engraving requests or clarifications.

    • Interact with Call Center Representatives and direct to consumer team to ensure proper and timely processing of engraving requests.

    • Ensure all engraving meets accuracy placement and quality standards.

    • Maintain engraving equipment and monitor software updates or troubleshooting needs.

    Battery Service Support

    • Assist with the installation of appropriate battery types and voltages for various watch models.

    • Support the inspection and cleaning of battery terminals.

    • Help set time and date functions following battery replacement.

    • Assist with functional and water-resistance testing using pressure-testing equipment and help with documenting and report results.

    General Duties

    • Maintain clean organized workstations and tools.

    • Document all service activities in tracking systems accurately and promptly.

    • Support physical inventory counts and special projects.

    • Provide backup support to other areas within SAV.

    • Support other areas of distribution such as picking and packing as required by the business.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Must pass a dexterity and tool-handling skills test.
    • Prior experience in watch battery service refurbishment or engraving preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
    • Effective English communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
    • Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
    • Flexibility to work extended hours evenings or weekends as business demands.
    • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks sit or stand for long periods bending squatting and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel) and comfort with engraving software and machinery.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and establish positive working relationships with a diverse team
    • Ability and willingness to being cross trained and work in other areas and/or departments
    • Support other areas of distribution such as picking and packing as required by the business.

    The hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00.
