Purpose of Position:
To coordinate Customer recovery plans during irregular operations in an effort to minimize overall impact to Customers and the Operation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate events that may impact Customers in a negative way.
- Monitor flight activity and resource availability in order to provide proactive recovery planning and response to irregular operations.
- Ensure accurate flight forecasting day of flight.
- Develop recovery plans that seek the optimum commercial solution and review them with the Commercial Operations Manager prior to implementation.
- Recommend decisions on cancellations delays aircraft swaps or other operational decisions based on operational requirements.
- Coordinate with other regions for cross utilization of resources as required.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Control and Dispatch on aircraft availability.
- Primary contact for Hub airports during irregular operations.
- Coordinate crew recovery options with Crew Scheduling.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Commercial Operations Manager.
- In conjunction with Load Planning review weight critical flights and monitor high gross weight aircraft.
- Monitor all Jazz Charter activity.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety and the safety of co-workers and customers.
