Job Summary

This role executes country expansion strategies and builds long-term relationships with key clients to support DKSHs business objectives. It leads healthcare business development by identifying shaping and securing 3PL/4PL and distribution opportunities through strong commercial acumen solution design and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development activities to expand DKSHs Healthcare distribution services including identifying qualifying and converting business opportunities.
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses feasibility studies and supply chain assessments to develop datadriven recommendations and proposals.
  • Drive endtoend proposal development including solution design pricing commercial modelling costtoserve analysis and preparation of contracts.
  • Work closely with Distribution Operations Supply Chain Quality Regulatory Finance Legal and IT/Digital teams to design feasible compliant and customercentric logistics and distribution solutions.
  • Support negotiations with financial/deal assessments and identify upselling or crossselling opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Monitor healthcare distribution and logistics outsourcing trends to guide BD strategies and strengthen opportunity pipelines.
  • Enhance BD processes tools and crossfunctional workflows to improve efficiency and delivery consistency.
  • Maintain strong longterm client relationships and provide timely internal updates on pipeline progress risks and commercial considerations.
  • Support the onboarding and transition of new accounts to ensure smooth handover to Operations and Client Management.

  • Drive goal execution and accountability ensuring timely delivery of BD and solutioning outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative highperformance culture with strong crossfunctional stakeholder management.
  • Champion continuous improvement by refining BD processes and encouraging innovation.
  • Rolemodel DKSH values and behaviors promoting professionalism customer focus integrity and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Proven business development experience in healthcare logistics or 3PL/4PL environments with a track record of managing medium to largescale commercial opportunities.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen including the ability to interpret cost models P&L impacts and deal economics.
  • Solid analytical and market research skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable proposals and business recommendations.
  • Strong client engagement and account management capability with experience leading discussions managing expectations and building longterm partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage crossfunctional projects at global regional or country levels working effectively across Operations Quality Supply Chain Finance and IT.
  • Knowledge of healthcare distribution and regulatory standards (e.g. GDP GMP HSA) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly in English (written and spoken).
  • High cultural awareness and adaptability able to work effectively across diverse teams and crosscountry settings.
  • Strong problemsolving and solutioning capabilities especially in designing supply chain or distribution models for clients.

Work experience:

  • Minimum 4-6 years working experience in distribution business development in healthcare is preferred.

Education:

  • Degree in Business Studies/Marketing preferred
  • Other qualifications related to the technical know-how work area such as pharmaceuticals and/or medical devices will be considered
