About the Role
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence. You will play a vital role in the pre-opening phase and long-term success of the resort taking full charge of the outlet in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance financial objectives with high-quality service standards.
What Youll Do
Supervise daily Restaurant service to ensure compliance with RIU quality standards and HACCP hygiene regulations.
Directly oversee the floor during meal periods greeting guests and resolving feedback on the spot.
Conduct daily briefings and ensure all staff complete duties and grooming standards.
Orient train and motivate the service team to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction.
Manage staff schedules attendance for payroll and conduct constant performance evaluations.
Foster a safe work environment ensuring employees are consulted on health and safety issues.
Assist in coordinating periodic operational audits and guest satisfaction surveys in line with RIUs standards ensuring proper documentation staff cooperation and timely follow-up on feedback.
What Were Looking For
Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience in F&B operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a 4 or 5-star property.
Skills: Strong operational oversight with the ability to manage multicultural teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and a guest-first mindset.
Education/Certifications: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management. HACCP Certification is highly preferred.
Communication: Strong command of English and Thai (spoken and written) is a must.
