  • Base salary from $81477 plus 17% superannuation

About the position

This role focuses on proactive school engagement delivery of high-quality presentations student recruitment activities and collection of prospective student information to support increased participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in higher education pathways.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position you will have;

  • Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Excellent cultural knowledge experience and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres StraitIslander peoples historical and contemporary issues affecting participation in education.
  • Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting Indigenous Australians accessparticipation retention and success in the higher education sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to gain a conceptual understanding of relevant policies procedures or systems and interpretation in the application of policy and/or precedent.
  • Ability to innovate and take responsibility for outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility.
  • Incumbent must hold valid full driving license.
