We are seeking an Accountant to provide high quality financial support across BLNZ its subsidiaries and the Pastoral Greenhouse Gas Research Consortium (PGgRc). This role is central to delivering accurate financial reporting maintaining robust accounting processes and ensuring confidence in our financial systems.
Youll be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts maintaining fixed assets and capital reporting supporting annual budgeting and forecasting cycles producing statutory accounts and assisting with external audits.
Youll also play an important part in maintaining our finance systems supporting upgrades ensuring compliance with legislation and contributing to broader team initiatives and organisational projects.
Were looking for someone with:
- strong technical accounting skills
- excellent attention to detail
- the ability to manage deadlines confidently
- a relevant tertiary qualification
- ideally be working toward CA or similar
- bring at least three years general accounting experience
This role is based in our Wellington office.
