Job Summary:
Lawrence Brothers Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and repairing a variety of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is dependable detail-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components
- Maintain and service equipment including forklifts welders grinders and other shop machinery
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Complete and maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards
- Assist with facility maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting
- Strong electrical knowledge (troubleshooting wiring basic diagnostics)
- Experience working with industrial equipment such as forklifts welders powder coating system and grinders
- Ability to manage projects independently including planning and material procurement
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems hydraulics and pneumatics preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attendance and reliability
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand walk bend and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
