The Opportunity

Hollywood Private Hospital with its recent expansion to 20 state of art theatres in on the lookout for experienced and driven Sterile Supply Department (SSD) Technicians to join our rapidly growing team and to develop new skills with a leading Healthcare provider.

• Our theatres boast cutting edge technologies including robotic surgery capabilities.
• Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness sorting assembling packaging and sterilising the equipment used in the Operating Theatres and ward areas.
• You will assist with the validation and routine of decontamination and sterilisation processes and also the maintenance of these records as well as actively participate in quality and infection control audits relevant to the department.

Furthermore you will be in charge of preserving the cleanliness of all work surfaces and equipment promptly reporting any damage and handling equipment transportation before and after sterilisation.

About You

• Proven experience as an SSD Technician and with competent in sterilisation
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong task orientation
• Commitment to continuous improvement and the achievement of excellence
• Excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills.
• Candidates with a Certificate III in Sterilisation will be highly regarded.

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $30.81 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances.
