The Junior Microsoft 365 Developer will support the design development and maintenance of enterprise business solutions leveraging Microsoft 365 technologies. This includes SharePoint Online Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI) and Microsoft Copilot 365.
This role operates under the guidance of senior developers and analysts contributing to solution development documentation troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives. The position offers an opportunity to build hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 development automation and governance frameworks within a structured enterprise environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport development of solutions using Power Platform and SharePoint Online
Assist in modernizing legacy SharePoint environments including migration to hub-based architectures aligned with enterprise standards
Collaborate with senior team members to implement and test Microsoft 365 solutions including Copilot 365 features
Participate in requirements gathering sessions and document business and technical needs
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation SOPs and user guides
Provide troubleshooting support for Microsoft 365 applications and resolve user-reported issues
Adhere to established governance security and compliance policies
Track and manage tasks using ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms
Deliver basic user training and support to business stakeholders
Stay updated with Microsoft 365 enhancements releases and best practices
Participate actively in team meetings project activities and departmental initiatives
Follow all departmental policies and operational procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (as required for onsite support tasks)
This role requires full-time onsite presence
Foundational knowledge of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform
Exposure to Power Apps Power Automate and/or Power BI through academic or hands-on experience
Understanding of or interest in SharePoint migration and modernization initiatives
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow structured processes
Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
Customer-focused mindset with responsiveness to feedback
Basic knowledge of PowerShell JSON or Microsoft Graph API
Familiarity or interest in Microsoft Copilot 365 and AI-driven productivity tools
Associates Degree or Technical Certification in Information Systems Computer Science or related field
Equivalent practical experience will also be considered
1 3 years of experience in IT support help desk or junior development roles
Exposure to Microsoft 365 technologies through professional work internships or academic projects
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)
Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
This is an intermediate-level professional role involving solution development through analysis and research. The candidate will contribute to small-to-medium complexity projects working as part of a team and occasionally taking ownership of specific tasks. There may be opportunities to mentor or support junior resources while developing domain expertise.
