Note: Tentative start date is dependent upon interviews onboarding completion and issuance of a state Purchase Order (PO).

The Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to support the Licensing Management System (LMS) within the Division for Planning and Operations (DPO). This role will work closely with developers business analysts and quality assurance personnel to develop new Salesforce modules enhance existing functionality and maintain a large highly customized Salesforce environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on Salesforce development experience strong problem-solving skills and proven success working within Agile development teams. This position requires a self-motivated results-driven professional who can thrive in a hybrid work environment.

• Design develop and enhance Salesforce applications supporting LMS operations
• Develop edit review and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex code
• Write and maintain technical and functional documentation
• Participate in requirements gathering and translate user needs into technical solutions
• Perform routine Salesforce updates enhancements and system maintenance
• Support Salesforce integrations using APIs web services and middleware technologies
• Collaborate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning reviews and testing
• Ensure data integrity and performance across Salesforce and integrated systems

• Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce application development
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture APIs Apex and Visualforce
• Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external applications (real-time batch sync/async)
• Proficiency in one or more of the following:
  • HTML JavaScript SQL
  • Java or C#
  • SOAP-based web services
• Experience with Salesforce data tools such as:
  • Data Loader
  • Excel Connector
  • DemandTools
  • Eclipse IDE
• Strong understanding of relational databases
• Experience with scripted data loading middleware and enterprise integration technologies
• Ability to analyze requirements from multiple sources and translate them into functional specifications
• Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation

Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Salesforce Developer Certification

Experience:

• 7 years of Salesforce programming and development experience

• Salesforce Architect experience
• Demonstrated success on complex Salesforce integration projects
• Strong background working in large customized Salesforce environments
