Job Summary
Empath Home Health a member of Empath Health is seeking a Registered Nurse RN Quality Improvement Specialist PRN.
The Quality Improvement Specialist is a unique position responsible for monitoring internal and external quality measures across the agency. The Quality Improvement Specialist proactively participates in the development and implementation of the organizations strategic initiatives performance improvements and creates value for both internal and external customers. Responsible for overseeing quality of customer care including customer experience safety and analyzing key quality indicators to identify areas for improvement. and meet regulatory and quality standards.
Schedule: PRN; must be able to commit to at least 20 hours per week (to be worked during normal business hours)
Location: remote - reside in the Sarasota FL
We are seeking:
- Education and/or Experience: Registered Nurse or healthcare professional with minimum of associate degree in related field bachelors degree preferred.
- 23 years of home health experience (required)
- OASIS knowledge required (certification not required)
- Strong understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs) including face-to-face requirements
- CPHQ preferred or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel Word and PowerPoint to create reports.
